Welcome To Our Clinic

The Arkansas Pediatric Clinic originated as the private practice of Dr. Barney Briggs in 1938. It was one of the first pediatric clinics in Arkansas and was initially located in the Donaghey Building in Downtown little Rock. It has been located in the Doctor's Building since the 1960's, when it was built.

Many excellent pediatricians have practiced at Arkansas Pediatric Clinic over the years and the current office has undergone a number of renovations and additions, the most recent in 2000. Today, there are ten physicians and one nurse practitioner in the practice, some of whom work part-time.

At Arkansas Pediatric Clinic, we strive to provide a medical home for your children, providing care for infants, children and adolescents. We have a well equipped lab where most tests are done in house. We are also one of only a few clinics in Arkansas with a separate Well Child Clinic where we can provide well child care/checkups for your child from birth to age 2. Our well child clinic allows us to minimize your child's exposure to illness while in our waiting room and hopefully results in shorter wait times for checkups.
