Office Hours
The clinic hours are from 8:00 to 4:45 Monday through Friday and Saturday
from 8:00 to 11:30. All patients will be seen by appointments except
for emergencies which will be seen as soon as possible. Saturday appointments
are for sick children only. Please call in advance if you need to
cancel an appointment. A parent or legal guardian must be present
for treatment of children under 18 years old unless there is a signed
consent by the parent. (back to

Billing and Insurance
At Arkansas Pediatric Clinic, we will bill your insurance for the
hospital charges of your newborn. You may receive a letter from us
asking for more information. We are providers for several managed
care plans. At your appointment, we extend to you a variety of payment
options. When you see us for an office visit, your co-pay is due at
time of service. Our clinic also accepts Medicaid, Visa and MasterCard.
We request that whatever your chosen method of payment, you pay promptly
when your child receives care. Should questions arise about charges,
treatment, or another aspect of our practice, please feel free to
ask for an explanation. (back to

Phone Advice
For advice and non-emergent problems, it is best to call during office
hours since this enables us to have your infant's chart to review.
Many of your questions can be handled by our nurses. If you need to
speak to the doctor, your phone number will be taken so the doctor
can return your call, during lunch, or after office hours. If you
are calling for a prescription, please have your pharmacy phone number
available before you call. You may call anytime during the day or
night for emergencies (the after hours number is still the main clinic
number). If you do not receive a return call within a reasonable length
of time, call again. (back to FAQ's)
After
Hours Care
Please call before you take your child for after-hours care. Many
of these visits are unnecessary and may not be covered by your insurance
company without prior authorization by your primary care physician.
There are after hours pediatric clinics at Arkansas Children's Hospital
and Baptist Medical Center if it is determined that your child needs
to be seen right away. If your child has a life threatening emergency,
call 911 and have the ambulance take you to Arkansas Children's Hospital
Emergency Room. (back
